1. The Union Cabinet has eased regulations to allow 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country’s space sector. The relaxation of entry barriers, as outlined in the amended policy, is expected to attract investors to Indian space companies.

INDIA’S INTERNATIONAL RISE MAKES IT KEY ALLY IN PURSUIT OF PEACE, SECURITY: GREECE PM MITSOTAKIS AT RAISINA DIALOGUE : In a world that faces geopolitical tensions and other challenges, India’s rise on the international stage and its position as a growing force at the heart of the G20 makes the country a key ally in the pursuit of peace, security and efforts to fight climate change, Greece Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has said.

3. The Raisina Dialogue in Delhi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Slovak Republic, 🇬🇭Ghana, 🇹🇿Tanzania, 🇦🇱Albania and 🇵🇦Panama. He discussed connectivity, mobility and economic cooperation with the countries in multiple sectors.

4. Finland’s Foreign Minister, Elina Valtonen on Thursday emphasised on the 75-year bond between India and Finland saying that the two countries are pushing to close a free-trade agreement. The Finland Foreign Minister was speaking at th sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue.

5. A Chinese research ship, Xiang-Yang-Hong-03, is set to arrive in the Maldives on Thursday, following a visit to the Indian Ocean in January. The ship, owned by a research institute, spent over three weeks surveying waters outside India, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka’s exclusive economic zones.

1…Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif is set to assume the role of Prime Minister of Pakistan a week after 176 out of 342 lawmakers of the National Assembly voted against former premier Imran Khan in a dramatic no-confidence motion resulting in his unceremonious exit.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Zardari, 68, is slated to become the country’s President again. Shehbaz Sharif was prime minister from 2022 to 2023 while Asif Zardari was the country’s President from 2008 to 2013
