1. In Bangladesh, the High Commission of India organised a grand Yoga event at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, in Dhaka on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
2. In the UAE, residents embraced wellness with over 150 people participating in the International Day of Yoga celebrations held at Dusit Thani Dubai, organised by the Art of Living foundation.
3. In Sri Lanka, International Day of Yoga is being observed at the historic Galle Fort.
4. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on a two-day visit to India.
5. Ninety-eight Indians have died during the annual Muslim pilgrimage of Haj to Mecca this year, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said total deaths of Indians in the entire Haj period last year were 187. “This year, 1,75000 Indian pilgrims visited Mecca for Haj.
6. Four members of the Hinduja family were sentenced to up to four and a half years in prison after a Swiss court found that they had exploited domestic workers at their Geneva villa. They were accused of smuggling in many Indian labourers, seizing their passports, and making them work 16-hour shifts without receiving overtime compensation at the villa.
7. India and Sri Lanka 20 June, commissioned an initiative key to maritime security cooperation between the two countries and built on a grant of $6 million from New Delhi.

1. 🇺🇸USA Supreme Court upholds law that bans domestic abusers from owning guns.
2. The Canadian appeals court has decided to keep Bhagat Singh Brar and Parvkar Singh Dulai, both supporters of Khalistani extremists ideology, on the country’s no-fly list. Brar and Dulai were placed on the no-fly list under relevant sections of the Canada’s Secure Air Travel Act, which allows the Canadian government to restrict air travel for individuals deemed to pose a threat of committing terrorism offenses.
