1. Netherlands Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp, during his meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in The Hague, emphasized the significant potential to elevate bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and India.

2. Bangladesh’s interim government, led by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus, has expressed its willingness to engage in dialogue with India to resolve the recent surge in bilateral trade tensions following India’s imposition of new restrictions on Bangladeshi exports via land ports.

3. A joint team comprising members of the Indian and Nepali Armies achieved a remarkable feat by successfully summiting Mt Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest peak, on Monday. This ascent, part of the Joint Indo-Nepal Army Mountaineering Expedition.

1. Starlink, the satellite internet service operated by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, has officially launched commercial operations in Bangladesh.

2. A series of deadly ambushes targeted Pakistani military convoys in North Waziristan, resulting in significant casualties among security forces and highlighting the escalating militant threat in the region. The first attack occurred in Dossali, where a convoy of ten vehicles was ambushed by armed militants.

3. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reaffirmed Ukraine’s readiness for a “full and unconditional ceasefire” with Russia, emphasizing the urgent need for direct negotiations to bring an end to the ongoing conflict.
