1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Johannesburg, South Africa from 21st to 23rd of November to attend the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit. This will be the fourth consecutive G20 Summit held in the Global South.
2. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar yesterday inaugurated Consulates General of India in Yekaterinburg and Kazan, alongside Russia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrey Rudenko. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jaishankar expressed confidence that the establishment of the new Consulates will boost trade and tourism between India and Russia.
3. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s uncompromising position against terrorism during the 24th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting held in Moscow from 17–18 November.
4. A high-level Afghan delegation led by Minister of Industry and Commerce, Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi visited the India International Trade Fair yesterday.
5. Amidst tense bilateral ties, Bangladesh’s National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman has invited Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval to visit Dhaka. The invitation was extended by the Bangladesh side during a meeting between the two NSAs that took place in New Delhi on Wednesday (November 19, 2025) ahead of the 7th Meeting of the National Security Advisers of the Colombo Security Conclave on Thursday (November 20, 2025).

1. In Ukraine, a total of 25 people were killed in a Russian drones and missile attacks on western part of the country, hitting two apartment blocks in Ternopil.
2. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of Nepal has urged not to make public speeches that jeopardize peace and security. The government, political parties, campaigners and the general public are made aware of it.

5. Indonesian authorities raised the alert for Mount Semeru volcano after a series of eruptions. The volcano lies on the country’s most densely populated island.
6. The United States of America has approved the sale of advanced NASAMS missile systems to Taiwan. It marks the Washington’s second major weapons package for Taipei in a week. The medium-range air defence system will be a new addition to Taiwan’s military capabilities.
