1. USA National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Mr Sullivan briefed Prime Minister on the progress in various areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly under the Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET) such as semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence, defence & space.

2. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a meeting with United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in New Delhi on Monday and discussed various bilateral, regional and global issues.

3. Indian national Nikhil Gupta, who is accused of being involved in the alleged failed murder plot of India-designated pro-Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in New York City has been extradited from the Czech Republic to the US to stand trial.

1. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dissolved his six-member war cabinet, less than a week after centrist opposition leader Benny Gantz and his ally Gadi Eisenkot resigned.

2. The United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP) recently held a significant meeting in Brussels, Belgium to discuss the plight of people in the Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK) and highlight the challenges faced by the region.They demanded the release of PoK activists who are arrested on “fake” terrorism charges.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was reelected by lawmakers for a second term on June 14, after his party struck a dramatic late coalition deal with a former political foe just hours before the vote. Ramaphosa won the vote against Julius Malema, leader of the far-left Economic Freedom Fighters.

4. Russian President Vladimir Putin will make a rare visit to North Korea this week, marking a significant step in the strengthening alliance between Moscow and Pyongyang.

5. China has reportedly developed an AI commander who is undergoing extensive training in Chinese laboratories, fighting virtual wars and operating without any intervention by humans. Dubbed as “virtual commander”, this AI officer is designed to act like humans as it gains virtual battleground experience.
