2. A statue of noted Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar has been unveiled in the Philippines. An official statement said, it was unveiled at the Gullas College of Medicine in Cebu yesterday as part of the celebrations to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Philippines.

5. The Ukrainian military has said that Russian forces launched 147 drones during an overnight attack. It said Ukraine’s air force shot down 83 of the 147 drones, while 59 drones did not reach their targets. Meanwhile, the Russian military reported that its forces downed 90 Ukrainian drones and a Neptune anti-ship missile.
