1. PM Modi on Sunday arrived in Nigeria on the first leg of his three-nation visit at the invitation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This visit is the first by an Indian prime minister to Nigeria in 17 years.

2. SpaceX will launch the ISRO-developed GSAT-20 satellite next week, marking their first commercial collaboration. The satellite aims to provide internet services across India and will be launched on a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, with an expected operational life of 14 years.

3. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Jauljibi Mela in Pithoragarh, calling it an “invaluable heritage” that fosters economic and cultural ties between India, Nepal, and Tibet.

2. Residents of several towns in Australia’s state of Victoria have been ordered to evacuate due to nearby bushfires. Authorities in the southeastern state issued emergency warnings for several communities in the state’s west and southwest due to out-of-control fires.

3. In the Philippines, authorities evacuated tens of thousands of people from their homes and cancelled dozens of flights today, as storm Man-Yi threatened to unleash heavy rains and powerful winds that could trigger floods and storm surges.

4. In Sri Lanka, a special workshop for newly elected Members of Parliament of the 10th Parliament will be held later this month. The workshop to be held for three days from 25th of November will focus on parliamentary procedures, session activities, and the functioning of committees, providing essential knowledge to the new MPs.

5. Eight persons were killed and 17 injured in a knife attack at a vocational school in east China’s Jiangsu Province on Saturday. The attack took place at around 6:30 pm at the Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Yixing City.

6. Princess Mikasa, the oldest member of Japan’s royal family, passed away at the age of 101. Born as Yuriko Takagi, she became a significant figure in the royal family through her marriage to Prince Mikasa, the younger brother of Emperor Hirohito.
