1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Amman on a two-day visit to Jordan; Expresses confidence, visit will boost bilateral ties with the Arab Nation.
PM Narendra Modi held delegation-level talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein in Amman, underlining the close partnership between the two nations as they prepare to commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations.

The Reciprocal Exchange of Logistics Support (RELOS) agreement between the two countries was ratified by the State Duma (the lower house) on December 2 and by the Council of Federation (the upper house) on December 8.

1. In Bangladesh, students of Dhaka University held symbolic protests to mark the Martyred Intellectuals Day, condemning collaborators of Pakistani forces during the 1971 Liberation War. A signature board titled “Silent Hatred” was placed in the Cafeteria of the University, allowing participants to leave messages denouncing those responsible for the killing of Bangladesh’s intellectuals.
