1. India has rejected the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the judgment of the Supreme Court upholding the 2019 revocation of Article 370 of the Constitution.

2. Pentagon Press Secretary, General Pat Ryder stated that the US has made great progress in bolstering its defence relationship with India this year. He was addressing a press conference in Washington.

3. In Nepal, a seminar on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) was organised in Kathmandu to drive innovation in the digital economy with a special emphasis on India-Nepal digital connectivity.

4. Former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, along with three distinguished diplomats, was honored at the annual ‘Diwali Power of One Awards.’ This prestigious ceremony, often hailed as the ‘Oscars of Diplomacy,’ celebrated their selfless contributions to shaping a more perfect, peaceful, and secure world.

5. Lauding the bilateral partnership between Bharat and Australia, the Ambassador of Australia to India, Philip Green OAM highlighted a remarkable two-way trade that has grown by more than 50 per cent over the past five years, adding that India is the most consequential relationship.

6. Boeing plans to deliver around seven Boeing-737 Max aircraft per month to Indian airlines in 2024. Boeing has ramped up its 737 Max deliveries in November.

7. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal held a meeting with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) delegation led by Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Helene Budliger Artieda, and Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry, Jan Christian Vestre, on Wednesday.

8. China’s reaction came a day after Pakistan criticised the Indian judiciary’s ruling in which it upheld the Narendra Modi government’s decision in 2019 where it revoked Article 370, and bifurcated the state into two Union Territories. China said it expects India and Pakistan to jointly resolve the Kashmir issue.

9. The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution ‘Protection of civilians and upholding legal and humanitarian obligations’ demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. India voted in favour of the ceasefire resolution in the UNGA’s emergency session on the Middle East on Tuesday.

1. The 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) has come to a historic close, marking a turning point in global efforts to combat climate change. COP28 in Dubai concludes with landmark UAE Consensus to transition away from fossil fuels.

2. AUSTRALIA HIT BY TROPICAL CYCLONE JASPER ,

In Australia, thousands of people have been affected as Tropical Cyclone Jasper hit the northeast part of the country on Wednesday. Coastal Communities Brace for Life-Threatening Floods.

3. In Poland: Donald Tusk sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the country.

4. China and Egypt collaborated to develop and jointly assemble the MisrSat-2 Satellite, launching it from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China with the Long March-2C carrier rocket.

5. China and Vietnam agreed to step up co-operation on security matters in their move towards becoming a community with a “shared future”.

6. Houthi rebels have announced that they will attack all ships headed to Israel if the besieged Gaza Strip does not get humanitarian aid. Leader of the Yemen-based group Mohammed Ali al-Houthi also warned militant vessels against providing protection to Israel-bound ships.
