1. US President Donald Trump has ordered a 25 percent tariff on any nation that continues trading with Iran,, aiming to curb Iranian activity amid widespread protests.
2. In Iran, nationwide anti-government protests have entered their 17th day.
3. The US Virtual Embassy in Iran has urged American citizens to leave immediately, warning that protests across the country are escalating and may turn violent.
The embassy advised US citizens, if safe to do so, to depart by land via Armenia or Turkey and to prepare plans that do not rely on US government assistance.
