1. The India-Singapore Joint Working Group on Personnel Management and Public Administration meeting was held on 10 Sep.
2. The Quality Council of India (QCI) has provisionally approved National Test House (NTH), Ghaziabad, as a certification body for type certification of drones under the Drone Rules 2021. NTH will assess agricultural drones, including Vimaana Aerospace Technologies’ Krishiraj 1.0, and provide low-cost certification services to support the growing drone sector in India.

2. 🇷🇺Russia has launched its largest naval drill in decades, involving all 5 fleets. The “Ocean 2024”, which began on 10 Sep, will be held simultaneously in the Pacific and Arctic Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean, Caspian, and Baltic Seas.
3. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday (Sep 11) announced a whopping $700 million in aid for Ukraine while visiting the war-torn nation. He said the new aid was aimed at shoring up the country’s energy infrastructure that Russia has repeatedly targeted in its strikes.
