1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer in Vienna and discussed various dimensions of the bilateral relations on Wednesday. These include trade and investment, Science and Technology, green energy, AI, start-ups, environment and climate change.

3. The India-France-UAE Trilateral Focal Points meeting was held virtually yesterday. The meeting discussed the progress in trilateral cooperation as per the Joint Roadmap agreed in February 2023.

4. At the 22nd yearly summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Moscow, India and Russia announced a plan to improve their strategic economic cooperation.

5. The 2nd Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Foreign Ministers’ Retreat will begin today in New Delhi. The External Affairs Ministry has informed that Minister S. Jaishankar will host his BIMSTEC counterparts at the event.

6. The 12th meeting of the India-UAE Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) concluded on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant step in bolstering defense relations between the two nations.

7. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has expressed readiness to join hands with India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to “properly handle” issues related to the situation on the ground in the border areas, amid the protracted border row in eastern Ladakh.

8. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen in Vienna on Wednesday.

9. Shri Om Birla, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, will head a prominent Indian parliamentary delegation to the 10th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia.

1. United States President Joe Biden and other leaders from NATO met in Washington, D.C., to celebrate NATO’s 75th anniversary, even though Russia is still fighting in Ukraine. NATO’s backing for Ukraine during the biggest land war in Europe in decades was the main goal of this meeting.

2. Norway Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Store said on Wednesday that the country will start the process of donating six F-16 fighters to Ukraine this year, aiming to boost Kyiv’s ability to defend itself against attacks from the air during its ongoing conflict against Russia.

3. The fourth edition of the India-GCC Buyers Sellers Meet on Food and Beverages kicked off yesterday in Dubai, bringing together key players from the food and beverage industry across India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

4. At least 25 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike on a school in southern Gaza. According to the Hamas-run Health Ministry, the building was sheltering thousands of displaced people.
