1. China is constructing new buildings within its territory near the buffer zone at Pangong Lake, though these structures remain on the Chinese side of the disengagement line established after the 2020-2021 border standoff.

2. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will be on an official visit to France and Luxembourg till the 10th of this month. Dr Jaishankar will address the 31st edition of the French Ambassadors’ Conference as the Guest of Honour.

1. Air traffic across Greece came to a sudden halt after a major radio frequency disruption. The unexpected incident led to the suspension of all flights, causing the airspace over Greece to empty as aircraft were grounded nationwide.

2. In Iran, at least 16 people have been killed during a week of unrest. Protests triggered by soaring prices and economic hardship have spread across Iran, posing the most serious internal challenge to the authorities in three years. The demonstrations, which began on the 28th of last month, were initially triggered by a severe economic collapse.

3. Britain and France carried out a joint airstrike in central Syria last evening on an underground facility where members of the Islamic State group were suspected to have stored weapons and explosives.

4. International reactions pour in after US captures Venezuelan President Maduro : Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised President Trump for his leadership on behalf of freedom and justice.
