1. President of Russia Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to India for the 23rd India-Russia Summit. During the two day visit, President Putin will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Both leaders will exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

2. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said that the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) C-17 transport aircraft, carrying a self-contained modular field hospital, over 70 medical and support personnel, and essential vehicles, landed in Colombo on Tuesday.

3. India is providing support to cyclone-hit Indivitiya in Sri Lanka through BHISHM Cube under the Government’s Aarogya Maitri project. In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs said that the Aarogya Maitri BHISHM Cube has become a crucial lifeline in the flooded periphery of Indivitiya, Ja-Ela, Sri Lanka.

4. The Indian team bagged two gold and four silver medals at the 22nd International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO 2025) held in Sirius, Russia from November 22 to December 1, 2025. Twenty-four countries participated in this edition of IJSO with about 140 students from across the world.

5. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) expressed its “sincere gratitude” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he wished a speedy recovery to BNP chairperson and former Bangladesh prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who remains critically ill.

1. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, foreign ministers are meeting in Brussels to review the Ukraine-Russia war and strengthen the alliance’s defense and deterrence posture. NATO’s Secretary General Mark Rutte urged members to increase military aid, stressing that Ukraine remains dependent on allied supplies as Russia intensifies its attacks.

2. UK Member of Parliament (MP) John McDonnell has voiced concerns about the recent human rights violations by Pakistani forces in Balochistan, including the abductions of Baloch women besides the reported use of drones in internal security operations.
