1. President of Finland, Dr Alexander Stubb, will pay a four-day state visit to India from the 4th of this month. President Stubb will be the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker at the 11th Raisina Dialogue 2026 in New Delhi.

2. Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe arrived in New Delhi, to Attend Raisina Dialogue.

3. The airline has extended the suspension of all flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Qatar yesterday till the end of the day.

4. India will host the Bharat Steel 2026 summit in New Delhi from the 16th of April. The two-day event will bring together leaders from steel, technology, mining, and trading companies to talk about the next-generation steel ecosystem.

5. India and Canada launched negotiations for the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, CEPA, in New Delhi and decided to finalise it soon.

6. The Embassy of India in Muscat, Oman, has expressed its condolences on the tragic demise of an Indian national on board MKD Vyom. The Embassy is in close coordination with the local authorities in Oman to facilitate the safe and early repatriation of Indian nationals on board the vessel.

7. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman yesterday met the New President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Zou Jiayi, in New Delhi.

1. Conflict in West Asia has intensified as Iran and the joint forces of Israel and America have launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks. Iran and Iranian-backed militias continue to strike US assets across the Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain, after the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top Iranian officials.

2. Israel’s air force says it dropped more than 1,200 munitions across 24 of Iran’s 31 provinces over the past day in its joint attack with the US. So far, Iran has launched strikes across nine countries in the region, including Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

3. Afghanistan Conducts Air Strikes on Multiple Pakistani Military Installations, Targets Rawalpindi Airbase.

4. The UAE has announced the closure of its embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its ambassador and all members of its diplomatic mission from Iran.

5. The leaders of Britain, France, and Germany have slammed Iran’s missile attacks calling it indiscriminate and disproportionate.
