1. India and Pakistan exchanged the lists of civilian prisoners and fishermen in each other’s custody through diplomatic channels at New Delhi and Islamabad.

External Affairs Ministry said, India has shared names of 366 civilian prisoners and 86 fishermen in its custody, who are Pakistani or are believed-to-be-Pakistani. Pakistan has shared names of 43 civilian prisoners and 211 fishermen in its custody.

3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief on the demise of Veteran Sri Lankan politician and Tamil National Alliance leader R Sampanthan.

4. India achieved the highest record of remittance inflows globally, amassing USD 125 billion. Strategic economic deals and strong job markets in other countries, especially in the US, UK, and Singapore, were the main things that caused this rise.

1. Turkiye, a natural gas explosion in the western province of Izmir killed five people and injured at least 60 others.

2. Australia has more than doubled the cost of student visa fees for international students from $710 to $1,600. The federal government said the additional revenue will help fund initiatives in education including cuts to graduate debt, financial support for apprentices, and the ongoing implementation of its migration strategy.
