Singing in Solidarity

Singing in Solidarity

I thought the world would go
silent and colorless, with the fall
of leaves, but it did not
happen so.

After a time, new leaves bloomed,
and winds flew, though it was not
like earlier, it was equally
soothing, loving, and kind.

I grew in solidarity,
flourished and sang with
time, worked endlessly
towards my dream, and
lived and loved like
a prayer.

Blessings are not outside,
blessings are what we
have inside.
