I am not afraid of silence
anymore, I am not. For, I have
conquered it or maybe it has
conquered me.
Whatever it is, we are friends now.
We cherish each other with the
sweetest of emotions.
It haunted me for days and years
not because it was scary, but
because I was afraid of what
might surface when I stop
the noise of the world and have
to face my emotions and
thoughts.
The outside may be toxic
sometimes, but when there is
even a single drop of poison
inside, it can take away
your life.
So, make peace with silence.
For, it will take you to God.
