Saintly Composure

“Softer than the flower, where kindness is concerned; stronger than the thunder, where
principles are at stake.”
– Paramahansa Yogananda Ji

This is what each one of us should strive to be: a perfect balance of soft and strong, yin and yang. We should be working towards creating peace of mind, that stands undeterred by storms of lost and uninitiated souls.

Flaws are so deeply rooted in our aura that it will take a true master’s guidance and sheer determination of self to strip oneself of the dualities that lie within ourselves. Many a time, we have to be revoked, tossed and turned until we turn into a diamond, which can not be cut by any sharp tongue.

When we start on the spiritual path, many thorns will emerge, and only a few who are wholly determined will be able to make it through. For, these thorns test the strength in character, words, and commitment.

And the reward is generous and gracious: God’s Realization i.e union with God. We will be living embodiment of the child of God. Whatever we speak, act, or think, it will be in union with our conscience.

Experiencing God will be our living reality. We will be experiencing divine bliss all the time. But it is also wisely said that.

“To seek the Lord, one need not disfigure his face. Remember the finding God will mean the funeral of all sorrows.”
