The time comes in life when no matter how spiritual you are unless enlightened, your whole world will crash before your eyes: when you hold the ashes of your loved ones, you get raped, or anything that breaks your heart and you too. Something that in a moment changes everything in you and about you, and you know that there is no turning back from this spiral.
You may find yourself staring at something or nothing endlessly. Your thoughts are cloudy, and the beat of your heart is so feeble that the other person does not know if you are still breathing. It gets so difficult to live through one more sunset, one more sunrise.
But even in times like this, someone will come who will guide you out of this unending night, who will hold you gently and shower you with so much love that you will find the strength to take another step.
When this happens, that is when you are reborn, and it is much more phenomenal than being born. After this, you will become so strong that no storm in life will ever be able to uproot you again. Such is the power of months or years of suffering until the light heals you and you get a rebirth.
It is the type of rebirth that humbles you, makes you more compassionate, loving, grateful, intelligent, independent, religious/ spiritual – that unwavering belief and faith that yes, someone is watching over you. For it is He, the divine beings, that hold you at night when you are inconsolable.
Always remember if you are an atheist that God sends challenges not to break you but to build you and help you reach your highest potential. But that does not mean that all the bad things that happen in your life are God’s doing. It is one hundred percent your karma.
Irrespective of that, once you are reborn, you will be filled with an immense compassion for all living beings, especially the ones suffering like you were once; hence, go ahead and help them, just like somebody helped you, held your hand, and guided you when you were also lost too.
No one is truly lost ever; the degree may vary, but with love and light, everything and everyone in this world can be healed. Hence, never lose hope, keep going, keep striving, and keep giving.
