Pink Sky

Pink Sky

It was cold out there
on the horizon
where tides splattered
on the rock endlessly

and I watched them
run against each other.

Was it love?
Was it hatred?
Or was it its nature?

There were dead corals beneath
and the pink sky above,
Who can say?
Who can commit?

There was no one to blame,
no one to praise.

Everyone was occupied
with each other, with thoughts of
many, and love for few.

Has it never been enough?

Perhaps, we are yet to see!
Yet to learn! Yet to find it!
Yet to love!

There is a whole universe
out there waiting
just for us:

to be found,
to be restored.
