”Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans.”
~Peter Drucker
I remember being entangled
with thick and rich books of
the dusty library such that
I skipped breakfast and
lunches, hours, and hours
for days and days.
I was found on the streets,
in gardens, parks, and kitchen
with white paper and a colorful
pen scribbling something
with utmost serenity
as if there is something
in me – dying to find
its symphony.
I was devoted to its creation.
I was committed to its creation.
But that was not enough.
I had blood and needed the breathe.
I had the darkness and needed the light.
I had restlessness and needed peace.
I had emptiness and needed wholesomeness.
I had the commitment and needed reverence.
And THAT was enough
for its creation.
