This year I am gonna
have a different birthday.
Oh! No, not changing the
date again but
bringing a slight change
in the way
it happens.
How about rather than
expecting surprises and gifts,
I gift everyone, something,
anything, as a gesture to show
how grateful I am to have them
in life and a few random gifts
for random people
as an act that each one of us
have a special connection
and care deeply for one another:
enough to share joy and pain together,
enough to laugh and cry together,
and enough to randomly love
one another
asking nothing
in return.
