When the hour emerged
to make the choice,
I let it run over me,
with its salt, scratch and
spice.
It was misty then.
But I walked through it
anyway with staggering legs
even if my heart was scared
to stumble and fall.
I walked right through it.
I made my choice in
the pollution of the city, i.e
to trust my inner voice
instead of blindly trusting the
mass whose majority of
decisions are influenced from the
instagram reels.
And today, I proudly look into my eyes,
into my soul and say,
“I made a fine choice that day.”
