just by walking past lives,
we create connections
often light, and at times
deeper than intended.
for one may have been successful
in cutting chords, moving one as
a page of experience but, for the other
encounter was so impactful
whether good or bad, he is going
to revolve in the same loop
for years that feels like
an eternity.
being freshly wounded every day
and every moment of his life wondering
and imagining things up like how
different it would have been if that
person was now with him
dreaming about it-
having nightmares-
sliding that person in every communication-
thinking about it whether eating, working, walking-
doesn’t matter how noble he thinks
his love is, but it is a just obsession.
and obsession is harmful to both
ends. both souls’ growth will be
hindered.
if you are someone like him-
please let her go-
do not psychologically chain
yourself and her
for, there will be repercussions
for every thought you create,
every word you utter, every action
you act.
