Being opposed with passion,
or shouted at with zeal
does not feel good.
But responding in a similar
fashion hurts more.
As body and mind always
remember what we do.
It may eventually forget who else
hurt us. But it remembers longer
if we hurt others.
I have discovered a new way of
dealing with heated situations and
it is effective too.
Instead of reacting on the spot
instinctively, leave the room kindly
and return when you have a more
forgiving and reconciling heart.
When we open ourselves to different
perspectives, we encourage tolerance
and peace on the Earth which is divided
among many faiths and boundaries.
