50 Years From Now

I want to look each other in the
eye after 50 years from now,
and still smile the same,

knowing in faith that
we understand each other in
ways impossible.

I want us to wrap each other
and breathe the air of peace
that comes after goodwill
in gratitude that we made
each other a better human.

For what is life without love,
without integrity and
commitment?

And what is that love that fades
with time or color?

In fact, if it is true, it will always
grow with every problem it
encounters.
