The Vasai-Virar Pride Festival 2023 is a one-day event that aims to celebrate the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. It is expected to draw a large crowd of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies from across Maharashtra. The Vasai-Virar Pride Festival 2023 promises to be a historic event for the LGBTQ+ community in Maharashtra and a significant step towards creating a more accepting and inclusive society. We have designed a route for the Pride March that will cover different neighbourhoods – temples, churches, and Vasai Road – for better visibility on the day.
Speaking about the festival, Nakshatra Bagwe said, тАЬI know the responsibility of the first pride and something which is very close to my heart. I want to thank Shrey and Jay Kommana from Page G Events without them I don’t think this would have been possible. We were very pleased with the positive response of the authorities and police officers who happily granted us permission without any hassle. This festival is an important step towards creating a more accepting and inclusive society for the LGBTQ+ community. I look forward to working with the organizers and the community to make this festival a huge.
