Every year Chhath festival is celebrated on the sixth day of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. On this day, women keep a fast and worship Chhathi Maiya with full rituals. In this festival, where the first Arghya is offered to Lord Bhaskar in the evening, then on the last day of Chhath, Arghya is also offered to the rising sun in the morning.
