Samarthanam Trust celebrates Silver Jubilee with Pride and Glory

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled celebrating its 25th Year of Service to people with Disabilities, kick started its programme by launching the Silver Jubilee Logo on24th Feb 2022 at the HSR Office of Samarthanam Trust. Samarthanams Silver Jubilee Logo is a testimonial for an updated Brand identity to show case its service to People with Disabilities.

On this special day, Delhi Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, had the presence of distinguished guests Mr. Somnath Bharti, MLA Malvia Nagar, Dr. Meenakshi Pahuja, Prof. Physical Education, Lady Shri Ram College for Women and International Swimmer, Dr. Jainendra Kumar, Additional Director, VRC(NCSC) Min. of Labor and Employment, Govt. of India, Prof. US Pandey, Principal SOL, University of Delhi, Mr. B. S. Raghavendra Vertical Head, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled Bangalore, Mr. Peethambaran Coordinator North Region Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. 80 Students were provided 80 Tablets to facilitate Education and 50 Medical and Hygiene Kits were donated to Female candidates who had enrolled in different Training batches of skilling and placement initiatives.

Dr Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar at the logo launch said” Samarthanam in 25 years has done its best, but we have miles to go to work towards Disability Inclusion and Empowerment and much more towards the Society, where persons with Disabilities become contributing members living with dignity and respect”.

Samarthanam Trust has been working to empower the visually impaired, disabled and underprivileged people in India. Samarthanam’s future endeavors are directed towards making Education digital and smart through its tinkering labs, and SMART Classrooms, making Railway Stations accessible for the Disabled, developing and nurturing Assistive Technology to create a positive impact in the lives of Persons with Disability.
