(Pondicherry ): On the occasion of 159th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda ,(celebrated every year as National Youth Day), Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narander Modi Inaugurated “The 25th National Youth Festival” Virtually on 12 Jan 2022 , at 10.30am organized by Pondicherry University, Pondicherry (Tamil Naidu).
Union Sports Minister Hon’ble Sh. Anurag Thakur , State Minister of Sports, Sh. Nitish Pramanik , Tamil Naidu Home & Sports Minister Hon’ble Sh. Namachchivayam President Malakhamba Federation Of India , (Sh. Ramesh Indoria ) , & other dignitaries were present during the Inaugural Ceremony of The 25th National Youth festival.
The Prime Minister extended his wishes to Indian Youth , Congratulates to all Winners & requested to Indians to support social Initiative “बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ , बेटी खिलाओ” ll , Hon’ble PM during his Inaugural speech, said if, “ The Indian Youth would added “LOCAL for VOCAL Mantra” , in their Daily Life , only than India will reaches to Real Height of Progress.
“Youth Sport Shining Stars” , Para – Olympians & Medalist , Paddler Bhavina Patel & Athlete Sharat Kumar, Olympians & Medalists “Female Boxer Lovina Borgohain” , Men Hockey Team Captain “Manpreet Singh” , Women Hockey team Captain “Rani Rampal”, who excels in the field of Sports & make India Feel Proud at International level shared their experiences , How the Modi Ji’s Initiative of “बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ , बेटी खिलाओ”, helped them in their Success Journey.
The virtual Inauguration was Observed by Staff , Coaches & Athletes of Different SAI Training Centers (STC’s) all over India, NSNIS (Patiala) , Sports Enthusiasts , All Sports Federations & their staff , & Entire Sports Fertanity.
The locals too enjoyed the 25th National Youth festival , at Pondicherry Beaches. On the 2nd Day of NYF on 13th Jan. 2022 , the demonstration Of Indian Traditional Sports, & other cultural celebrations will be played.
