Women of Music India to host second edition of PWR Pose in Mumbai, spotlighting and shaping the future of music and creative culture

Women of Music India(WoMI), the not-for-profit initiative founded by leading mediaadvisor and entrepreneur, Priyanka Khimani, announces the second edition of PWR Pose, which will take place in Mumbai on 28th November 2025.

PWR Pose is WoMI’s flagship identity and confidence-building experience for female professionals, including artists and music business executives, who power the music ecosystem. The initiative centres visibility, self-expression, and belonging, by offering professional headshots, personalised styling support,and an uplifting community experience designed to help women show up as their most authentic selves.

Following a highly successful debut edition in 2024, PWR Pose 2.0 expands its mission by including young talent, both boys and girls, from underserved and diverse socio-economic backgrounds, offering access to professional photography,exposure to industry environments, and a space to build confidence and creative aspiration.

This year’s edition will bring together emerging artists,executives, creators, and young future leaders in music and culture, along with allies and industry supporters. Participants will experience curated photography, glam teams, mentoring touchpoints, and community-led storytelling, with a focus on showcasing talent across creative and executive roles in music, entertainment, and cultural production.

A movement rooted in access and representation

PWR Pose sits within WoMI’s wider mission to build pathways, visibility, mentorship, and long term opportunitiesfor talent of Indian origin across the global music industry.Through education, industry immersion, community building, and strategic partnerships, WoMI works to strengthen representation across creative, business, andleadership roles in music and adjacent creative fields.

NGO partners across Mumbai, such as The Dharavi Dream Project and The Sound Space, will partner with WoMI toparticipate in this year’s edition, ensuring meaningful access andwidening the pipeline for emerging talent. Commenting on the initiative, Priyanka Khimani, Founder, WoMI, said, “This year, PWR Pose is opening its doors wider. We are partnering with other non-profit organisations to welcome young talent from marginalised and under-represented communities, many ofwhom have never had access to spaces like this. Our goal issimple: to make confidence, visibility, and opportunityaccessible to talent who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported as they step into creative careers.”
