Director Aarambh Singh has recently come up with Jamai 2.0. Now, he’s come up with the psycho-thriller Bakaaboo 2. It marks his second collaboration with Priya Banerjee after Jamai 2.0.
After ALTBalaji decided to have season two of Bekaaboo, the director decided to only have Priya from the previous season. The actress will be playing a key role in the second season.
Sharing his experience and bonding with Priya, Aarambh says, “When Bekaaboo season two was offered to me, I watched the first season to understand the story and characters. That’s when I saw Priya play the character of Kashti. She totally stood out in the series. I was simultaneously prepping for Jamai 2.0, so I suggested that we should try her out for the character of Aahana in Jamai. She did a fab job. While we changed most of the characters for Bekaaboo season two, it was impossible to not have Priya because everyone loved her in the first season, as she was the highlight of the show. Working with her on back-to-back projects has been a great experience.”
