New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who recently enjoyed the success of her film Stree 2, has opened up about why she has yet to share the screen with Bollywood’s iconic Khan trio—Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. Despite being one of the most prominent actresses of her generation, Shraddha has not yet collaborated with these superstars, a fact that has piqued the curiosity of her fans and the industry alike.
In a recent podcast interview, Shraddha shared her thoughts on this subject. She explained that while she has received offers to work with the Khans, the roles she was offered did not resonate with her artistic aspirations. “Many times, you are offered a film, but if the character doesn’t excite you or the role doesn’t challenge the artist in you, then you may choose to pass on it,” Shraddha said. She emphasized that her focus is on being a part of high-quality films with strong narratives and talented directors, regardless of the star power involved.
Shraddha further elaborated that her decision is not about avoiding the Khans but about being selective with the projects she undertakes. “I want to be part of good films that I am proud of,” she stated, hinting that the opportunity to work with the Khans might come naturally if the right project comes along.
While Shraddha has not yet worked with the Khans, her career is thriving. After a 16-month break from the silver screen, she returned with a bang. *Stree 2*, which was released on Independence Day, has been a massive hit, earning over INR 360 crores globally. This marks her second consecutive blockbuster, following *Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar* with Ranbir Kapoor, which also crossed the INR 200 crore mark at the box office.
Despite facing competition from other major releases, *Stree 2* has managed to hold its own, especially in the evening and night shows where it saw the highest occupancy. Shraddha’s ability to choose projects that resonate with audiences, coupled with her focus on quality, has clearly paid off.
For Shraddha Kapoor, it’s not just about working with the biggest names but about being part of films that leave a lasting impact. And while her fans eagerly await the day she shares the screen with the Khans, they can take solace in the fact that she continues to deliver memorable performances on her own terms.
