PrideMonth Top 5 web series which are entirely based on LGBTQ community

LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) – Pride Month, is a festival to shower some love and support towards our rainbow community from all over the globe and is celebrated in the month of June. India officially became a part to celebrate this festival and sprinkle this rainbow colours on our community after the Supreme Court issued its verdict and ruled that Section 377 of the IPC is unconstitutional celebrated all over the globe in the month of June.
Well on this very occasion of pride month, Lets talk about a few web series which are entirely based on LGBTQ community. Series which showed their strong support towards the community, And which tried to convey and portray their real-life issues.

1. Mombian – Gul and Sakshi Ki Pyaaari Si Love Story
Mombian is directed by Deepak Pandey, Streamed on EORTV Starring Riya Deepsi & Anikta Sahu as lead roles. The Story has depicted the emotions and journey of a lesbian couple who wants to embrace motherhood by giving birth to a new life despite of all the peaks and valleys in their lives. The series sets a good example of never giving up on the ones you love unconditionally.

2 Modern Love : Mumbai
Amazon Prime’s Modern Love : Mumbai is an anthology of six different stories from the City and Hansal Mehta’s Baai as one of the best offerings in Modern Love: Mumbai.
Based on Gay romance Baai deals with the love story of Manzar and Rajveer performed by Pratik Gandhi & Ranveer Brar. It shows how Manzar kept his sexual identity hidden from his Grandma Baai Played by Tanuja. The series has a kissing scene of both the actors which had kept the audience amazed.

3 Pankhriya Udi Udi
Another beautiful series from EORTV titled Pankhriya Udi Udi showcasing Kavita Banerjee and Snower Sania as Pankhi & Arya respectively. And yes as Life comes with a full circle, So was with Pankhi & Arya’s life were Arya has been detected with a fatal disease and now she wants Pankhi to find a new life partner. The whole series aims to normalise same-sex relationships.

4. I Love Us
EORTV being a treasure box for LGBTQ series has ‘I Love Us’ as their most talked about series. The story is a triangle between Shreya, Ananya and Ashutosh played by Ashmita Jaggi, Harsha Chopda and Ali Merchant respectively. And how they end up realising and figuring love of their lives. The story unfolds the mystery of this trio.

5. Inside Edge
Well the season 3 of this series came up with a huge twist as Rohit Shanbagh, captain of Indian Cricket Team played by Akshay Oberoi is gay and is in Relationship with Allen played by Ankur Rathee and Rohit not ready to lose his macho image in the public. The actors shared an intimate scene in the series which made the audience go crazy!
