Hitesh Rikki Madans Break Ke Baad

Flashback to 1998, India’s pioneering Hind-rock band Euphoria burst into the music scene captivating all, young and old alike. And making his presence in the band of veteran musicians was this 19 year old boy who came to be known as “the-guy-with-the-bandana”, who went on to set ablaze the stage with his guitar. After 25 years in the music scene, Hitesh Rikki Madan makes his debut as a solo singer-songwriter-producer with “Break Ke Baad”.

A high-energy song, Break Ke Baad is an expression of the constant struggle that consumes individuals who aspire to do the right things to stay fit. With an infectious groove and contemporary Hindi, English and Punjabi lyrics, it is sure to bring a smile to your face and also hopes to inspire people to include physical activities and sports in their everyday lives.

Fitness goals make for the most popular New Year resolutions and with the FIT INDIA MOVEMENT gaining ground in creating awareness to have a healthy and fit lifestyle, Break Ke Baad certainly will touch a chord across all age groups and convey the message gently and in a humorous way.

The music video is part animation and a visual treat! It features Hitesh’s sons,13 year old Ariv who plays the bass and 12 year old Advay killing it on the drums. The song was conceptualised by Hitesh’s wife Payal, who felt completely defeated with the struggle of maintaining size and shape! The video showcases brilliantly done illustrations and animations by Nitin and Loveleen Chawla. This immensely creative and talented duo hit it off right away with Payal’s vision of how the song had to be represented on screen. The video was shot entirely at home and in Hitesh’s in-house studio. Produced remotely, the shoot found Payal behind the camera, in fact it was her phone camera which was used for the entire video!

The song has been recorded at Hitesh’s own, ARIA The Studio. It has been mastered by the internationally acclaimed recording engineer Chris Hesse (drummer of Hoobastank) based out of LA.

The song has been composed, sung, produced and mixed by Hitesh Madan with lyrics by Payal Madan, Hitesh Madan, Manish Dhawan, Kunal Netrapal on drums and has been mastered by Chris Hesse at The Lighthouse Studios , Los Angeles.
