Asha Bhosle & Usha Mangeshkar ‘s Blessings, ISAMRA Sangeetmay Baithak To See Over 50 Singers, Musicians Gather To Reminiscence Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar On Her Second Anniversary Post Demise
ISAMRA Sangeetmay Baithak, a musical tribute to Swar Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar by the Indian Singers’ & Musicians’ Rights Association (ISAMRA) will see over 50 singers, musicians, Music directors and lyricists, and representatives of music companies gather to sing and reminiscence her on the second anniversary post her demise.
The gathering will see the who’s who of the music world come together and pay respects to the Nightingale of India.
Expresses Sanjay Tandon, Founder and CEO, (ISAMRA), “the event has the blessings from Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, and will see a bevy of singers, musicians, lyricists including Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Suresh Wadkar, Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala, Sudesh Bhosle, Shabbir Kumar, Nitin Mukesh, Lalit Pandit, Shailendra Singh, Sanjay Tandon, Annu Malik, Richa Sharma, Madhushree, Jaspinder Narula, Sadhnna Sargam, Sneha Pant, Sanjeevni Bhelande, Bela Sulakhe, Harshdeep Kaur among many others remembering Lata Didi’s immortal songs and the time with her.”
Javed Akhtar, Anandjibhai, Pyarelal ji, Vishal Bharadwaj, Anand Milind, and Himesh Reshamiya are expected to be present and speak on their experiences with Lata didi as well.
“I am happy that the issue of Royalty that Lata didi had raised in the 60s is now resolved under ISAMRA. We are one Big Family of Singers & Musicians. And a family always gets together to remember and reminiscence its members in the best way we can — through music. We all will thus gather as a family and remember her.
