Indian pop icon Armaan Malik and multi-award winning composer-producer OAFF recently collaborated to release their song ‘Tabaahi’, a feel-good pop song that talks about the feeling of solitude while being in the company of the person one loves. Seeing the massive appreciation that the song received, the artists have released a stripped down version of the song backed by the soothing tones of the piano played by OAFF and the rich notes of the cello, giving the song a much more peaceful undertone.
Sharing his thoughts on the release of this version of the song, Armaan says, “Music is a journey of exploration and we embarked on making the stripped-down version of ‘Tabaahi’ to unveil the raw emotions behind the song. This version breathes new life into the song with the soft notes of the piano accompanied by the cello, adding to the overall grandeur of the track.”
Speaking about the song, OAFF says, “We aimed to strip the original version of ‘Tabaahi’ and present it in its most vulnerable form, taking the song to a whole new dimension with its sound. The sound of the piano and cello creates an immersive atmosphere that beautifully complements the song’s narrative. Hope our listeners find solace in this version of the song
and give all their love to it.”
The track is available across all leading streaming platforms along with a music video that showcases Armaan Malik and OAFF performing the song out now on Armaan’s official YouTube channel.
