Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari who is known for speaking his heart out and presenting his opinions fearlessly in front of the world has yet again hit the headlines with his recent action. A video which has spread like fire on social media in which a man named Kanhaiya was seen singing a Bhojpuri song inside a lockup of a jail. Hearing his soulful voice, people around the prisoner recorded his video and shared it on social media.
Dr. Shalbhamani Tripathi, MLA from Deoria, shared this video on his Twitter account stating, ‘After contacting Chandramohan Kumar Mishra, a former TV colleague, it came to know that this is the poor youth of Kaimur, Kanhaiya. Bihar police sent him to jail after being found drunk. After their legal help, efforts will be made to rectify them.” To which singer Ankit Tiwari tweeted, “Drug addiction is evil and only art has the power to defeat this evil.”
Ankit further retweeted, “I would like to give this person a chance to sing a song on behalf of my music company Mist Music.”
Impressed fans couldn’t stop heaping praises for Ankit post him providing a golden opportunity to this youth. Previously, Ankit had also shared a post on his social media supporting busking and questioning over the action being illegal in India.
