Appearing on The Vedas Speak by Paparazzi Entertainment, Dr. Anuj Saxena spoke candidly about his personal and professional rebirth — a story of strength, acceptance, and quiet resilience. Once at the peak of his career, he witnessed both success and storm, yet chose faith over bitterness.
“Fifteen years ago, I was happy — a top television star, part of a strong family business. But life changed. Like Lord Ram’s exile, I too went through my own. The last 13–14 years were extremely difficult, but I accepted it.”
Anuj describes those years not as defeat, but introspection. “I don’t want to point fingers or blame anyone. Life is a journey. I remained positive and never gave up.”
In his most vulnerable moment, he shares with honesty, “I’ve gone through hell — but my intentions were clear. I know I did no wrong. Life and business have ups and downs. I too went through a storm. But I never gave up, because I believed in God and myself.”
Even during the darkest times, his devotion to Sai Baba guided him. “In my worst moments, I always turned to Baba. If I had done something wrong, I would accept the consequences. But I know I didn’t. Maybe it was karmic, maybe connected to my family. Still, I chose not to blame anyone.”
Protecting his family’s legacy and name, he says, was his greatest responsibility. “My father and brother built a legacy, and I wanted to protect their name. That was my pride.”
Recalling his unexpected start in acting, he smiles, “I grew up in South Bombay, hardly spoke Hindi, but Baba Shirdi’s blessings made me an actor. My career began by coincidence — it was destiny.”
Now, standing strong again, he reflects with contentment. “Whatever I am today is because I believed in two things — God and myself. That’s enough. I don’t need anyone else’s approval.”
