The legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar who tested COVID positive earlier this month was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital on January 8.
She has been fighting with the coronavirus since then, inside the ICU.
According to the latest updates on the 93-year-old veteran singer’s health, she is showing signs of improvement. Lata Mangeshkar is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and she is being closely monitored by an expert team of doctors currently, headed by Dr Pratit Samdani.
A close family member said, “We are looking forward to and praying for her speedy healing and coming back home.”
The statement that was issued also addressed the fact that there were false rumours being circulated around her health. The statement read: “It is disturbing to see false news being circulated. Please note that Lata didi is stable and she continues to be in the ICU under treatment of able doctors. Please pray for her quick return home.”
