Mumbai’s beloved Japanese dining destination, Kofuku, is marking a distinguished milestone in Mumbai’s culinary culture with the launch of its all-new cocktail program first introducing at andheri and gradually at Lower parel and Powai branches. This thoughtfully curated unique beverage experience seamlessly blends Kofuku’s philosophy of authenticity, innovation, and flavor harmony , this time, reimagined in every glass.

The idea behind the program emerged naturally from Kofuku’s existing strengths. Sake and Soju have long been among the brand’s top-selling spirits. Realizing their popularity, the team was inspired to bring the same artistry and attention to detail found in the kitchen to the bar. The result is a cocktail experience where traditional Japanese elements meet contemporary mixology, blending house-made infusions, premium ingredients, and mindful flavor pairings.

Curated by Pooja & Fay of Mr. Bartender & The Crew, alongside Wasim, Mukesh, Jatin & Jko of the Kofuku Bar Team, the menu features India’s largest sake and soju cocktail collection, supported by other spirits but driven by these two foundational liquors. Techniques such as Japanese-style ice carving, the use of Asian umami-rich infusions, and the application of airs, foams, and modern garnishes bring each drink to life. From texture to aroma, every detail is carefully considered.

Among the standouts, the ‘Japanese Ume’ is a must-try signature, capturing subtle fruit notes with a refined balance. Meanwhile, the ‘Samurai’s Honour’ tells a tale as compelling as its taste paired with wasabi, it nods to the ancient belief that samurais drew their strength from this fiery root.

The cocktail menu is thoughtfully designed to complement Kofuku’s celebrated culinary offerings, curated under the expertise of Executive Chef Suresh Pariyar. Among the signature dishes, the Oh My God Sushi stands out as a visual and gastronomic marvel layered with premium seafood, nuanced sauces, and a presentation that captivates. The Sausage Kimbap brings a hearty Korean-Japanese fusion to the table, packed with bold spices and deep umami. The ever-popular Rock Shrimp delights with its golden crisp texture, finished in a creamy, tangy glaze. For those who crave intensity, the Spicy Korean Chicken delivers a fiery kick that pairs effortlessly with a chilled cocktail. Rounding off the experience is the Chef’s Special Curry, a soulful bowl of slow-cooked depth, blending traditional Asian spices with contemporary flair.
