Style Decoded: Star Boy LOC

Star Boy LOC 1

Star Boy LOC is a popular Indian singer, rapper and lyricist, also known for his eclectic sense of style. In a candid chat with Soumya Vajpayee, the musician talks about his fashion sense and choices.

How do you define style?

Style depends on how you carry yourself so that your style can define you. It completely depends upon a unique way of clothing or the way you arrange your appearance. Style not only depends on your appearance, but also how you walk, talk, speak and most importantly, your behaviour. That’s the main style statement.

Which kind of outfit do you love the most?

I prefer wearing clothes that make me feel comfortable. So, the combination I sport the most is stylish joggers/pajamas with a body-fitted t-shirt or shirt.

Who is your style/fashion icon?

Gian Luca

What is that one fashion/style accessory you cannot leave home without?

Earphones and shades

Which celebrity do you admire the most for their style quotient and why?

I admire Ranveer Singh. It’s because he can carry anything. Whatever he does suits his personality. I try to follow him.

Which is your favourite perfume?

Ajmal Abia

A fashion/style taboo that you strongly condemn.

I feel one should never carry something that he/she thinks they are not confident about. For example. I used to have green hair on one side, so I know I carried this style statement well, but others who try to carry have to be very confident. The idea is to stay grounded even if you wear trendy stuff.
