Trailblazing artist BombayMami has announced her anticipated new album, ‘Peaceful Attitude’, set for release on 20th March 2026 via MNRK. The announcement is accompanied by the release of new single ‘Energy (Chak Dum Dum) ft Mannywellz’ which is out now! Listen HERE.
‘Energy (Chak Dum Dum)’ splices together Western pop, Afropop and traditional Indian instrumentation – inspired by the emotional tension of the 90’s Bollywood Film ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. The song features BombayMami’s longtime friend Mannywellz – a Nigerian artist and producer based in the US.
Speaking about the single, she says “I’ve always respected Mannywellz’ sensitivity and musical integrity. This collaboration comes from real trust, shared history, and an instinctive understanding of energy and how it moves between two people. The song also pulls from the emotional tension of Dil To Pagal Hai, where desire, timing, and destiny are always slightly out of sync.”
The latest release follows previous singles ‘Jaloux’, ‘Curse’ and the viral success of her Fire in Delhi snowboarding campaign – which racked up over 10 million views and won praise from the likes of Maya Jama, Sid Sriram, Biig Piig, and Kojey Radical. The video caught the attention of tastemakers like BBC Introducing, BBC Asian Network, Vogue, Elle India, and Trippin World among others.
The singles give a taste of ‘Peaceful Attitude’, the upcoming album where BombayMami effortlessly blends different cultural influences and sonic soundscapes. The album has been produced by Tudor Monroe (Pa Salieu, CKay, Stefflon Don), StillNaS (Aya Nakamura), Mintsauce (SOLOMON) and more.
Speaking about the album, she adds “`Peaceful Attitude’ is more than my debut album – it’s my personal mantra and the way I’m learning to move through the world. This project reflects my journey into womanhood, self-trust, boundaries, and softness after survival. This album is about becoming a grown woman, accepting that I make mistakes, learning from them, and choosing peace without dimming my power.”
