New Delhi:- Fardeen Khan, the popular Bollywood actor known for his performances in films like No Entry and Dulha Mil Gaya (2010), has candidly shared his struggles after being away from the film industry for over a decade. Fardeen’s absence from the big screen, which lasted more than 12 years, was partly due to personal reasons, including the loss of his father, Feroz Khan, and his need to step back and recalibrate.

During a recent interview, Fardeen opened up about the regrets he has for taking such a long hiatus from Bollywood. He mentioned that while there were offers coming his way until around 2014, his gradual withdrawal from the public eye and weight gain gave the impression that he had left the industry for good. “People assumed I had moved out of the country,” he shared, noting how that perception has been hard to shake. Looking back, he expressed his desire for a shorter gap in his career, acknowledging that taking such an extended break was unintentional but deeply regrettable.

Fardeen emphasized that returning to Bollywood has not been easy, as the industry is highly competitive and constantly changing. “This is a fickle industry,” he admitted, explaining that staying relevant is a challenge, and making a comeback after more than a decade felt daunting. He revealed that his initial return was marked by feelings of uncertainty and fear, with him even feeling like a newcomer despite being a seasoned actor.

However, Fardeen’s determination to reconnect with the film world kept him going. He sought out opportunities and reached out to people he had previously worked with, such as Salman Khan, with whom he shares a strong bond. The actor mentioned how crucial Salman’s support was during his time away, and their friendship remains intact.

Fardeen made his official return to acting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Speaking about his comeback, Fardeen admitted that although it was scary at first, the warm reception from people who remembered and appreciated his work boosted his confidence.

Currently, Fardeen is working on multiple projects, including the comedy film Khel Khel Mein, where he stars alongside Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu. This new phase of his career has reignited his passion for acting, and he is eager to prove himself again in an industry that moves at lightning speed.

Despite the struggles and uncertainties of his return, Fardeen Khan’s comeback is a testament to his resilience and commitment to his craft. The actor hopes to make up for the lost years and is ready to embrace the new chapter of his Bollywood journey.
