Delhi Crime Actor Rajesh Tailang and Inspector Avinash director Neeraj Pathak mentored the new talents in Bollywood Dreamz workshop in Goa. The workshop aims to provide an unparalleled platform for newcomers who are aspiring to get into Bollywood and connect them to the right people.

During the workshop, actor Rajesh Tailang said, “I’m not afraid to get into a character and stay there for a long time. I think it’s important to enjoy the process and accept the challenges. I believe that if you focus on learning, you will eventually find work. If you focus on work, you will never have time to learn. If you train yourself with intensity, your passion will show through to others. Even when I don’t have work, I’m always learning new things. I’m currently learning to play the flute and edit video. Realistic acting is all about clarity. You need to have a clear understanding of the character you’re playing. You need to know their motivations, their goals, and their backstory.”

Director Neeraj Pathak who also happen to mentor the participants stated, “Forget just playing a character, become the Pushpa of your own life, the hero of your own story. In the real world, the first trait of a successful actor is resilience. Be prepared for rejection, it’s your most crucial training ground. If casting directors favor their friends, don’t fret. Polish your skills so brightly they’ll be begging to cast you! Never let your fighting spirit fade. Rejection is not a roadblock, it’s a welcome guest. The one person you can always rely on in life is you. I respond to every work call, every opportunity. Ignoring them is like turning your back on your dream. Just like singers and athletes train, actors need constant practice. Reading is your fuel, your inspiration, your gym for the soul.”

Under the guidance of renowned Bollywood personalities like Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanjay Mishra, Saurabh Shukla, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rajesh Tailang, Rannvijay Singha, Leena Yadav, Sai Kabir, Rajpal Yadav, Ankita Tiwari, Amit Rai, Shakti Mohan and Gagan Dev Riar, participants are receiving invaluable mentorship, hone their skills, and gain industry insights that can propel them towards success.

It is an extensive 6-day workshop with Bollywood stalwarts from 15th December to 21st December, 2023 which is founded by producer Rajesh Mohanty.
