The much-awaited “Creative Leaves X” Group Art Exhibition, presented by Creative Art Affairs (CAA), is all set to open its doors to art enthusiasts and connoisseurs from across the country. This exciting four-day event, scheduled to take place from March 21st to 24th, 2025, will be hosted at the prestigious Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR, Park Street, Kolkata.
The exhibition will be a celebration of artistic excellence, offering a stage for PAN-India artists to present their novel and compelling creations. This curated showcase will highlight the question “What is art?” through the works of 18 talented artists. The works on display aim to answer this question by pushing boundaries, exploring diverse styles, and showcasing the artists’ creative potential.
The featured artists, selected for their outstanding skill and promise, come from all walks of life, yet share one common trait – a passion to contribute meaningfully to the ever-evolving world of art. Among those featured are artists such as Itirekha Chanda, Aritri Chakraborty, Proshomaa Anindya Kakoli, Sharmistha Banerjee, Baisakhi Gupta, Sandhya Salunke, Chitra Mukim, Eldora Betsy Lyngdoh, Pinaki Ranjan Mitra, Deepak Biswal, Meenakshi Chhajer, Tanisha Sharma, Sheela Sancheti, Adarsha Biswas, Uday Maharana, Mugha Khandelwal, Mandira Mondal, Amb. Sanjukta Kar, and Amb. Dr. (HC) Sonjaye Maurya.
As part of Creative Art Affairs’ mission to not only support but also educate artists about how to navigate the world of art events, this exhibition also emphasizes the importance of genuine promotion and effective presentation. A significant portion of the exhibition’s expenses will be borne by CAA, making it an exclusive charitable initiative dedicated to nurturing the creative community.
The inauguration of this prestigious exhibition will be graced by a distinguished panel of luminaries from the art and literary worlds, including renowned lecturer, bilingual poet, and published author Gopa Bhattacharjee, along with eminent painters Subrata Das and Malay Das. Special guests Dr. Ratan Ghosh (Acclaimed Author, Poet, Novelist and Editor), Dr. Asok Ray (Gynecologist, President of Athenaeum Institution, V.P. of Lion’s Club Kolkata, Singer, and Painter), Mitali Pramanik (Physicist, Odissi Dancer, and Painter), Purbasha Mondal (Professor and Award-Winning Poet), and Madhu Jaiswal (Bilingual Poet and Editor) will also grace the event with their presence.
The exhibition will kick off with a stunning welcome dance performance by Mitali Pramanik, an eminent Odissi dancer, set to the rhythms of sacred matras – a perfect introduction to the celebration of both art and culture.
The highlight of the evening will undoubtedly be the presence of VIP guests, including glamour icons Mrs. Nupur Basu, Emcee Amalia, and Nazia Fatema, the Miss and Mrs. India of 2019.
