Singer and music composer Kanishk Seth who is still celebrating the success of his last hit song ‘Rangi Saari’ – sung by him and Kavita Seth, has now dropped a new single titled Saacha Sahib featuring Kavita and Pakistani singer Javed Bashir. The song will be available across all digital and streaming platforms on 10 February ’22 and will be accompanied by an exciting animated video directed by Shikha Sharma & Adarsh Panicker.
The song, which is about surrendering oneself to the Almighty, and elevated through the power-packed vocals of Kavita and Javed, transcends the listeners into an out-of-the-world experience. While the animated black and white music video showcases the inward journey of finding enlightenment. Saacha Sahib is a spiritual poem written by one of India’s eminent Sufi poets Kabir – a 15th-century mystic poet and saint and is reimagined in a new form for the contemporary audience.
‘I always enjoyed making music that combines two different worlds: Electronic and Indian classical. And after doing “Rangi Saari,” I realized I should release a song that is slightly different sonically but also stays true to my signature sound, says Kanishk. With Saacha Sahib I had an absolute privilege to have power-packed vocalists like Javed Bashir feature alongside my mother Kavita Seth’.

Kanishk Seth, whose work is a balanced fusion of modern electronic music and Indian classical compositions, is an Indian Indie-electronic artist, producer, composer, and singer. His music is refreshing, conceptually diverse, and visually driven. His last release Rangi Saari has created an uproar, in the Indie music space by being one of the most Spotified Indie songs of 2021, with 17 million+ streams across all the digital streaming platforms. He has also composed a song for Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi film ‘Double XL’.
Kanishk Seth made his musical debut in 2014 when he released ‘Trance With Khusrow’ – the world’s first Sufi-electronic album with Sony Music India. The album was nominated alongside Grammy award winner A. R. Rahman in the Best Fusion category at the Great Indian Music Academy Awards in 2015.
