Accusations against the choreographer associated with the wedding festivities of singer-composer Palash Muchhal and cricketer Smriti Mandhana led to a wave of confusion and controversy on social media. Now, the choreographer has issued a clear and firm clarification, stating that the claims are “baseless, fabricated, and an attempt to malign his reputation.”

The row began when a Facebook post accused the choreographer of “unprofessional behaviour” while hinting at cheating several clients. The post quickly spread across platforms, with many assuming it had links with the high-profile wedding celebrations of Muchhal and Mandhana.
However, the choreographer claimed that though he had “worked with full sincerity” during the wedding, the accusations were framed in a biased manner to appear connected to it. “People are misusing the popularity of Palash and Smriti to target me,” he said, asking everybody to check the facts before spreading misleading stories.
Choreographer Says Evidence Will Be Presented
The choreographer, in his statement, clearly mentioned that he had all documentation, payments, messages, and work schedules to prove that the accusations were totally false. He further said that he has “never cheated any client in his professional career” and is prepared to take legal action if defamation continues.
He said the viral post had juxtaposed a set of grievances that were unrelated and tried to link them with the celebrity wedding to make it trend. “This is a pattern-people create drama around high-profile weddings to grab attention,” he added.
Sources close to the couple asserted that Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana are not involved in the controversy, and on the contrary, wish to remain away from all the noise regarding the allegations.
