On Sunday, as dawn broke over the city, hundreds and thousands of Mumbaikars came out on the streets dressed up in tracks, trainers and walked for a cause close to their hearts ‘awareness against the deadly disease called Diabetes’ orchestrated by CritiCare Asia Hospitals Mumbai. A mix of celebrities, students, corporates, NGOs, homemakers and others came together, all dressed up and cheering each other on. Just before 8am, the countdown began and soon, the run was flagged off. The city’s sporting spirit was in full display as the participants lent their support towards the cause.
